Poster Sessions
A key professional development and engagement opportunity at the ALA Annual Conference, Poster Sessions include six categories of posters highlighting innovative library programs, research on emergent issues, and strategic initiatives. Attend at any point during the 90-minute sessions to view the posters and discuss them with the presenters.

Outreach and Engagement — 10:30am - 12:00pm
Posters on community outreach and engagement; programming and events; interlibrary loan and cooperation; cooperation with non-library institutions and agencies; public awareness; communication and marketing; library services to special groups; reference and information services; and user experience (co-sponsored by the Public Programs Office (PPO) and the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA)).
The Educators — 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Posters on education, including but not limited to: library instruction; distance learning; continuing education; literacy; and research methodologies (co-sponsored by the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), Continuing Education, and ALA Editions | Neal Schuman).
Diversity Fair — 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Posters highlighting library services, programs, and collections to underserved and underrepresented communities (co-sponsored by the Office for Diversity, Literacy and Outreach Services (ODLOS)).

Global Perspectives & Approaches — 10:30am - 12:00pm
Posters by international librarians and US librarians engaging with international libraries or global topics in librarianship. Posters will highlight ideas and projects, research studies, practical problem-solving efforts, or innovative library programs. Posters on wide-ranging topics are considered (co-sponsored by the International Relations Round Table (IRRT)).
Infrastucture — 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Posters on buildings and equipment, management, and technology (co-sponsored by Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures (CORE)).
The Collectors — 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Posters on acquisitions; cataloging and classification; collection development and management; history; preservation; serials; and special collections (co-sponsored by Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures (CORE)).
