The 2026 IRRT Chair’s Program celebrates the rich diversity of libraries around the world and the shared spirit and strategies that inspired them to tackle common challenges and embrace new opportunities. Letter of Invitation
As part of your ALA conference registration, you will receive an invitation upon registering. If you need a Letter of Invitation for your employer or to secure funding, please complete the Request for Invitation Letter before registering.
ALA is unable to provide financial support for your participation, and this letter does not financially obligate ALA in any way. If, for any reason, your visa is denied or you are unable to attend, you have until May 29, 2026, to cancel your registration and receive a refund, minus a $50 USD cancellation fee. Registration cancellations must be sent to [email protected].
Travel Visa Requirements
Visa requirements can change and differ by country, so be sure to consult the U.S. State Department website for the most up-to-date information when planning your trip. If you need a travel visa, please allow ample time for the application process.
To avoid delays upon arrival in the United States, ensure you have all required documents and visas, and verify that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay.
